| dc.description.abstract | Küçük birer şehir olan üniversiteler, hizmet kalitesini artırmak ve insan kaynaklarını daha verimli kullanmak için akıllı şehir kavramını benimseme konusunda büyük fırsatlara sahiptir. Ancak, bu hedefe ulaşmak için dijital dönüşüm şarttır. Teknolojinin hızla gelişmesi, dünya genelinde yaşam kalitesini artırma ihtiyacını ortaya çıkarmıştır. Bu ihtiyaç, özellikle akıllı şehirlerde bulunan üniversite kampüslerinde "akıllı kampüs" dönüşümünün önünü açmıştır. Dolayısıyla, dijital dönüşüm, akıllı kampüslerin oluşturulmasında ilk adımdır. Dijitalleşme süreci, geleneksel üniversite kampüslerini akıllı kampüslere dönüştürmek için iş süreçlerinde ve eğitimde dijital teknolojilerin kullanımını teşvik etmiştir. Bir üniversitede akıllı kampüs oluşturulması, temel olarak idari ve akademik süreçlerin dijitalleştirilmesini içerir. Bu süreçte kullanılan dijital teknolojilerden biri Robotik Süreç Otomasyonu'dur (RPA). RPA, tekrar eden ve zaman alıcı süreçleri otomatik hale getirerek idari işleri kolaylaştırır. Bu çalışmada, İzmir Bakırçay Üniversitesi Lisansüstü Eğitim Enstitüsü'nde yapılan bir süreç RPA ile birlikte otomatize edilecektir . Her bahar ve güz döneminde öğrencilere yapılan kayıt, ders seçimi ve form doldurma gibi süreçlerin hatırlatılması gerekmektedir. Ancak, mevcut yöntemler manuel veri girişi ve e-posta gönderimini gerektirdiğinden zaman alıcı ve düzensizdir. Bu çalışmada, sürecin dijitalleştirilmesi için bir robot oluşturulacak ve bu sürecin insanlar tarafından ve robot tarafından izlenen yolları belirlenecektir. Elde edilen verilerin analizi yapılarak sürecin sonuçları değerlendirilecek ve yorumlanacaktır. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Universities, being small cities themselves, have great opportunities to adopt the concept of smart cities to enhance service quality and utilize human resources more efficiently. However, digital transformation is imperative to achieve this goal. The rapid development of technology has brought forth the need to improve the quality of life worldwide. This necessity has particularly paved the way for the transformation of university campuses into "smart campuses" located within smart cities. Therefore, digital transformation serves as the initial step in establishing smart campuses. The process of digitalization has encouraged the use of digital technologies in administrative and educational processes to transform traditional university campuses into smart campuses. Establishing a smart campus at a university primarily involves digitizing administrative and academic processes. One of the digital technologies used in this process is Robotic Process Automation (RPA). RPA automates repetitive and time-consuming processes, thus facilitating administrative tasks. In this study, a process conducted at the Graduate School of İzmir Bakırçay University will be automated with RPA. Processes such as student registration, course selection, and form filling, which occur every spring and fall semester, need to be reminded to students. However, current methods are time-consuming and irregular due to manual data entry and email sending requirements. In this study, a robot will be created to digitize the process, and the paths followed by both humans and the robot will be identified. The collected data will be analyzed to evaluate and interpret the results of the process. | |
