Alt ekstremite lenfödemi olan bireylerde kompleks boşaltıcı fizyoterapi'nin statik ve dinamik denge parametrelerine etkisi

| dc.description.abstract | Bu çalışmanın amacı alt ekstremite lenfödemi olan bireylerde Kompleks Boşaltıcı Fizyoterapi'nin (KBF) statik ve dinamik denge parametrelerine etkisini araştırmaktı. Çalışmaya yaş ortalamaları 52,92±11,6 yıl olan unilateral alt ekstremite lenfödem tanısı alan 21 birey dahil edildi. Bireyler 4 hafta süresince, haftada 5 gün olmak üzere KBF Faz I programına alındı. KBF'nin Faz I kapsamında bireylere Manuel Lenf Drenajı, Cilt Bakımı, Kompresyon Bandajı ve Boşaltıcı Egzersizler uygulandı. Bireylerin statik dengeleri Techno-Body Prokin Posturografik denge cihazında Romberg test ile gözler açık ve kapalı değerlendirildi. X ve Y eksenlerindeki ortalama ağırlık merkezi mm cinsinden ölçüldü. Dinamik dengeleri aynı cihaz ile sadece gözler açık değerlendirildi. Ayrıca dinamik denge başarı yüzdelerine bakıldı. Tüm değerlendirmeler tedavi öncesi ve sonrası yapıldı. Tedavi öncesi ve sonrası gözler açık ve kapalı statik dengede X ve Y ekseninde ortalama ağırlık merkezinde fark yoktu (p>0,05). Bireylerin tedavi öncesi dinamik denge başarı yüzdeleri %74,67 ± 26,68 iken, tedavi sonrasında %80,79 ± 20,67 olarak bulundu (p=0,001). 4 hafta süresince uygulanan KBF'nin statik ve dinamik denge parametrelerine etkileri değerlendirildiğinde, dinamik denge başarı yüzdelerini arttırdığını, bireylerin ağırlık merkezlerini orta hatta yaklaştırdığını ancak bu düzelmenin anlamlı olmadığı görüldü. Alt ekstremite lenfödem varlığının bireylerin dengelerini olumsuz yönde etkilediği düşünüldüğünde, lenfödem tedavisinin önemli olduğunu, tedavi programına denge eğitimi eklenmesinin faydalı olabileceği ancak bu konu ile ilgili çalışmalara ihtiyaç duyulduğu belirlendi. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of Complex Decongestive Therapy (CDT) on static and dynamic balance parameters in individuals with lower extremity lymphedema. Twenty-one individuals who diagnosed with unilateral lower extremity lymphedema with a mean age of 52.92±11.6 years were included in the study. Individuals were included in the CDT Phase 1 program for 4 weeks, 5 days a week. Within the scope of Phase I of CDT, Manual Lymph Drainage, Skin Care, Compression Bandage and Decongestive Exercises were applied to the individuals. Static balances of individuals were evaluated with Romberg test with eyes open and closed in Techno Body Prokin Posturographic balance device. The mean center of gravity on the X-axis and the mean center of gravity on the Y-axis were measured in mm. Dynamic balances were evaluated with the same device only with eyes open. In addition, dynamic balance success percentages were examined. All assessments were made before and after treatment. There was no difference in the mean center of gravity in the X and Y axis in the static balance with eyes open and closed before and after the treatment (p>0.05). While the dynamic balance success rate of the individuals was 74.67 ± 26.68 % before the treatment, it was 80.79 ± 20.67 % after the treatment (p=0.001). When the effects of CDT applied for 4 weeks on the static and dynamic balance parameters were evaluated, it was seen that the dynamic balance success percentage increased, the individuals' centers of gravity were closer to the midline, but this improvement was not significant. Considering that the presence of lower extremity lymphedema negatively affects the balance of individuals, lymphedema treatment is important, adding balance training to the treatment program may be beneficial, but studies on this subject are needed. | en_US |
